In an organisational context, maneuverability refers to the ability of a company or institution to quickly adapt to changes, challenges and opportunities in its environment.
This concept is vital for organisations operating in fast-paced or unpredictable industries, where they need strategic shift or adjustment, to innovate and re-align resources effectively to stay competitive.

An exampel of how this can be done

Your organisation needs to:
- Be motivated
- Work together as a group
- Come with ideas for change and development
- Change and develop
- Feel supported, seen and listened to
- Aim for the same goals
![Manuverability 3 .png](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/0f9e73_1a2b8de64c74412a8d9ebc49f3a20410~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_190,h_266,al_c,q_85,enc_avif,quality_auto/Manuverability%203%20.png)
This way of working creates a climate where
- Change is a natural part of everyday life
-You show the coworkers that change is important and worth the time to work
with (the Manager and the Manager’s Manager come to the meeting)
- An envionment were everyone is listened to
- You promote teamwork

Change groups
- Divide the working force into change groups (around 8 persons in the group
depending on the nature of the Strategic Focus, they can consist of persons
within a working team - or may have to be cross-functional)
- Start up the Change group
- The Change group works and steers itself
- The group works 8 to 9 weeks to create a suggestion and work together to
create the change (in this phase the group needs to contact experts and others
involved in the concerned process or organisations)
- The Change work is presented to the other teams, to the Manager and the
Manager’s Manager

Why Maneuverability Matters:
In industries with high uncertainty, such as technology, healthcare and finance, maneuverability is key for survival.
Organisations that can strategicly shift or adjust and realign resources quickly are better positioned to capitalise on new trends, protect against risks and avoid potential downturns.
Maneuverability allows organisations to transform challenges into competitive advantages by responding faster than competitors, innovating continuously and maintaining alignment with market conditions.
