Core Human Values

If you look at humans in general, there are some values that can be looked upon as being common to all of us (Core Human Values).

 

Core Human values are the core principles and beliefs that guide how we behave, interact with and treat others. These values form the foundation of what is considered moral, ethical and respectful in society. They are universal in nature and promote harmony, compassion and a better way of living.

Why Are Human Values Important?

-  They foster positive relationships

-  They create a more just and peaceful society

-  They promote personal growth and self-respect

-  They ensure mutual respect and understanding in diverse communities

Integrity means being honest, trustworthy and sticking to strong moral and ethical principles.

It involves doing the right thing even when no one is watching

Examples:

-  Being truthful in your words and actions

-  Keeping promises and commitments

-  Respecting your own and others’ boundaries

-  Standing up for what is right, even when it’s difficult

In leadership and teamwork, integrity builds trust and respect, making it a key value in both personal and professional life.
